When it comes to buying tyres, many of us are driven by price. We would, of course, like to fit our vehicle with the best quality tyres that are going to offer optimum protection in the wet, great fuel economy whilst also being quiet on the roads, but to get this you often have to pay a lot of money.
If you are having to stick to budget tyres then make sure you do your research. I recently needed to purchase four new tyres but was aware I could only afford the budget range. After comparing a number of tyres on the internet I managed to find a make of tyre that was within the budget range but ranked highly in all three categories (wet grip, fuel economy and road noise). It far outdid its competitors and was within the middle pricing range for the budgets. This way I felt I got a good quality set of tyres for an affordable price, giving me the best of both worlds.
