With the UK getting hit by so much bad weather this winter, inevitably pot holes are cropping up everywhere. Older roads may have suffered from huge pot holes and ones that have previously been filled may have suddenly resurfaced. As a driver this can be a huge problem as you have enough to concentrate on your speed and where you are going (as well as what other drivers are doing) without having to contend with dodging huge holes in the middle of the road. If you hit a pothole you may damage your tyre which may need replacing. It may not only cause damage to your tyre but can knock the tracking out and even damage suspension components. This can soon all add up to a costly repair through no fault of your own.
Road users pay tax to create the funds to keep the roads in a good condition and if the roads are not being maintained properly in your area then you may wish to speak to the local council about the issues you are facing. Some even have a website where you can go on and report pot holes and be kept updated as to when they have been fixed.
