If like many car buyers you are shopping for a new vehicle every 5 to 6 years then you will find many new models have come on to the market. It can be confusing to know which car to go for and with a car being the second largest purchase many of us making, it is important you make the right decision.
Firstly you need to decide what vehicle style you want, hatchback, coupe, MPV for example. If you need a certain amount of seats then this decision may be quite an easy one. Next you need to work out what is important to you. Some people favour comfort over everything, for others its reliability and many people go for looks. Work out how many miles you do on average a year and what type of driving e.g. motorway driving or short school runs. You also need to have a good idea as to what your budget is. Next take a visit to some of the dealerships and have a test drive in a few different makes and models of cars. Always try and test drive a vehicle first so you an be sure it fits with your driving style.
Once you have narrowed your selection down, work out a comparison table showing cost, warranty length, miles per gallon etc.
