Tyres can be very expensive with people often looking to pay in excess of £200 for a set of four. There are so many options available to your when it comes to buying tyre it can all get a little confusing.
You have the option of buying new or part worn tyres and then also make and price range. New tyres are sold as budget, mid-range or top range tyres and the price goes up accordingly.
Although you would assume the more you spend on the tyres the longer they will last, this is not always the care. It may be that it is worth buying two sets of budget tyres compared to one high end tyre as you will get a lot more use from them.
Some tyres do offer better grip and therefore a better driving experience though, so be sure to read reviews about the different makes.
